I am a fan of E.L Todd and this book was good and I am glad that I got the opportunity to read a different plot this time around. This story is about characters, Frankie and Hawke, and it tells the story of their journey of accepting love and friendship. I enjoyed this story but there were a few things that i did not like about this story. Let me start with the positives…The book was written really well and i did not see any grammatical errors. The characters were fully developed and i understood the choices that were made about their relationship. The story was interesting, well rounded and it kept my attention throughout the entire book. Now lets move on to the negative elements…I loved that Frankie was a strong female character but at times, she became really annoying to me. She was really, really stubborn and sometimes this type of character can become overbearing and come across as a bitch. I’m just saying…Towards the end of the book, the story sorta slowed down for me and the conversation between Frankie and Hawke was really cheesy. I honestly think the dialogue could have been better. One of the major turn off for me in this book was the skipping of the development of their friendship. It mentions that they are best friends but it doesn’t show how their relationship got to that point. Other than a couple flaws the book was a good read and I recommend that you give this book a chance.
Let me start by saying that I had no idea that this was book 3 in a series. The book was so good that I thought it was a stand-alone novel.!! This book tells the story of Jake and Laurel (which makes me think of "Arrow") and tells the story of how they became to accept each other's painful past and learning how to move forward with love. This book is a wonderful example of storytelling and I enjoyed myself while reading this book. The way the author tells this story makes it entertaining in a classy, simple way and I could not have asked for a better story. This story gripped my heart and I was surprised by the chemistry that jumped off of the pages when it came to Jake and Laurel. Laurel's daughter, Bonnie, just makes this book even more sweet than it already is. I really miss when books were written like this and there is no specific point of view and it allows the author to explore different characters. By allowing different charact...
