Turbulent Intentions by Melody Anne

The synopsis of the story and the author attracted me to this story. I have always loved her stories and I could not wait to fly in the skies with these sexy aviators. I was a little disappointed by all of the inner thoughts that the characters had, but overall I liked the book. This is book one of the Billionaire Aviators series and it is about Cooper and Stormy, which makes me think of X Men by the way). Cooper and his four brothers have ten years to settle down and get married or they will lose their inheritance. Not really needing the inheritance, Cooper sets out to do the opposite of his father's dying words and live life his way and not get tied down by a woman. In walks Stormy, dressed in a hip hugging, red dress and a blonde wig for the night and Cooper immediately takes notice of her at his friend's wedding. After a hot, steamy, one night stand, Stormy decides to runaway instead of facing her mystery lover. Fast-forward to six years later, Cooper is a pilot and Sto

Saving Jake by Sharon Sala

Let me start by saying that I had no idea that this was book 3 in a series.  The book was so good that I thought it was a stand-alone novel.!!  This book tells the story of Jake and Laurel (which makes me think of "Arrow") and tells the story of how they became to accept each other's painful past and learning how to move forward with love.  This book is a wonderful example of storytelling and I enjoyed myself while reading this book.  The way the author tells this story makes it entertaining in a classy, simple way and I could not have asked for a better story.  This story gripped my heart and I was surprised by the chemistry that jumped off of the pages when it came to Jake and Laurel.  Laurel's daughter, Bonnie, just makes this book even more sweet than it already is.  I really miss when books were written like this and there is no specific point of view and it allows the author to explore different characters.  By allowing different character point of views, it

Surprise

I am going to do something that I have never done before.....I am going to publish one of my many poems.  Growing up, I was always a loner and in my alone time I would dream up a fantasy land or I would write poems to express my feelings.  When I became an adult I did not have much time to write poems and stories, so I just did not write any.  One day I was feeling really emotional (which happens a lot because I am an emotional person) and having the influence of alcohol, I decided to write a poem.  This poem reflects the feelings that I was feeling at the time and I always like to reread my poems at a later time so that I can reflect on my growth as a person.  Now, Now do not judge me okay and I am really putting myself out to the world with this post.  Read it and let me know what you think about it. ;) You don’t fucking get it, do you? Do you get how it makes me feel? Do you even care about me? Do you even care about how much love I have for you.? Do you even care to be t
