Hometown Cowboy by Sara Richardson

Author: Sara Richardson
Date released: February 28, 2017
Genre:  Romance
Rating:  3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐

The only reason that I am giving this book three stars is because at the 70% mark, the book just slowed down and it lost me. This book is about Jessa, a veterinarian, and Lance, a cowboy bull rider, who both were served a heaping plate of parental issues and they fall in love. Sweet right?  Well it is because Jessa has a heart of gold and Lance is a strong minded cowboy who wants to be alone.  They have known of each other since they were kids, but they never really looked at each other.
They officially come face to face when Lance is looking for his dad around the ranch.  Knowing that Luis is always at the animal shelter with Jessa, Lance goes to her house to question her and it is the funniest scene ever.!  That is when their relationship starts to bloom. Lance is training for a world title in bull riding and he needs to focus on the prize, but he can't because he has to keep an eye on his…

I don’t know what it is about cowboys, but I just have this fantasy about rugged cowboys.  Maybe it’s the southern manners or the fact that they have on boots and ten gallon hats, but whenever I see a cowboy romance story I jump for joy to read it.  Well enough about my cowboy fantasies, let me tell you about this book that I read in..wait for it…3 hours non-stop.  I could not put this book down. That is how much I loved this book.  Keep in mind that I have three children in the house and still nothing could stop me from reading this book.  This book is about a sexy, hot cowboy and a veterinarian, who loses her practice in a fire.  Needing a place to run her practice temporarily, Maddie rents a space at Trey's, sexy cowboy I mentioned earlier, ranch.  The sparks goes haywire and the attraction between Maddie and the sexy cowboy is evident.  I wanted to smack Trey at the back of the head for …

Today Is the Day.!!

Now I know most women, like myself, were ecstatic when it was revealed that the 50 Shades trilogy was being made into a movie.  I absolutely loved the books and I am not ashamed to say that I loved the movie as well.  Yes there was some important parts missing and yes I envisioned Christian Grey to be this drop dead gorgeous alpha male on the big screen, but I genuinely enjoyed it and I had to warm up to Jamie Dornan, who is a hot Irishman by the way.  It is a guilty pleasure of mine and today is the day that 50 Shades Darker is being released.  Will you be going to see the erotic romance on the big screen?   I know I will.  Happy viewing and as always, Happy Reading.!! It's Friday.!!!

I really liked this book.  The intensity between the characters was there, the sexual chemistry was jumping off of the page, and, most importantly, the sex scenes were hot.  I liked Nick as the hero and I kind of like Chloe as the heroine. This is the third book in the Aviator series and I jumped at the chance to read Nick's story.  He was always the fun brother and in this story I get to see another side of him.  Nick's characters has depth and he is dealing with loss, he is a lot of fun, and he knows how to woo the panties off of any woman.
Nick is a rescue pilot for the U.S Coast Guard and his career is cut short when a dangerous mission kills everyone on the helicopter instead of Nick.  Dealing with survivor's guilt, Nick struggles to move forward.  Chloe, a physical therapist hired by Uncle Sherman, takes on the task of nursing Nick back to health, But Chloe has a secre…
