Book 2 of the Rocky Mountains Riders series brings patience, forgiveness, and honesty to the forefront.  Our hero, Lucas, is back in town to help take care of his sick father who has Parkinson's.  Returning home means Lucas has to face his past and most importantly face Naomi, his high school sweetheart whom he left behind 10 years ago.   When Lucas was 17 he went to prison for a crime that he did not commit and with the sentence of solitary confinement, came the hard decision to leave Naomi behind.  If you have read book one then you know that Lucas took the wrap for his younger brother Levi, who really started the fire.  Their reunion would have been beautiful except, Naomi is avoiding Lucas like a plague and is holding a life changing secret. Author:  Heather Long Release Date:  06/26/2017 Rating:  4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A heartfelt story about a marine cowboy coming home and finding love, Semper Fi Cowboy is the story for the ages.  This book grabbed me and did not let me go and I was deeply moved by the heart of this story.  The colorful style of writing pulls me in and this author creates a pleasing small town and realistic characters. Texas heat? Check . Hot cowboy and strong female lead? Check and check.   The momentum from the beginning of the story pushed forward with full steam and made a much needed stop for a heart to heart conversation between a father and son.  Retired mariner Tanner return home when he gets a call that his father had a heart attack and is needing some help around the ranch.  The thing is Colonel, Tanner's dad, is not having it and he is making it his mission to let Tanner know at every turn.  On his way into town, Tanner stops at one of his favorite bars back at his hometown and comes across

Author:  Leeana Morgan Release Date:  April 12, 2014 Rating 4 Stars ☆☆☆☆ I know I haven't posted a review in a while, but I have been nose deep in cowboy romance books lately.  So I guess I can call the month June Cowboy appreciation month.  Everyone else seems to make up holidays, so why can't I?  Well lets dive into this story about a heart broken cowboy finding love again. :) I enjoyed myself while reading this book and I am happy to say that this cowboy made me swoon. I read this book fairly quickly and it is a page turner for sure.  It had a dose of heat, humor, and heart that made this story well rounded.
