Love Me by Bronwen Evans

Author:  Bronwen Evans
Release Date: February 13, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Rating: 4 Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really enjoyed this book and I read it fairly quickly.  Everything that makes a good romance story was present in this story.  Chemistry, Love, Passion, sex and most importantly, intensity.  I loved the characters and the plot.  Characters, Tyler and Emily, are high school sweethearts and are drifted apart when Tyler's sister is killed in a car accident.  Not knowing how to process the grief of losing his sister, Tyler pushes Emily away and the two comes face to face four years later at his mother's funeral.  The love of a child brings Tyler and Emily together again, but the reunion is no picnic.  Tyler is still holding on to the grief of losing his sister, mother, and Emily.  Faced with the responsibility of raising his niece, Tyler is in dire need of help and that is when Emily comes into the picture.  The two clash, of course, in the beginning, but love has its way and the story takes off.

I am going to start with the positives of this story because that's just the way that I do things around these parts.  Anyways, Tyler is a hot hero in this story and he is matched by Emily with her kind nature and strong personality.  We get the point of view of Tyler and Emily and I enjoyed that aspect because I am naturally curious and I like to know how both characters are feeling during the situation.  The chemistry was there and I liked the small touch of mystery.  Haley was a good addition to the story, I adored her and I feel that she gave this story some heart.
Although I absolutely loved this story, there were a couple of things that I did not like.  There were a couple of grammatical errors and instead of using Emily, the author used Haley and she clearly meant to say Emily when it involved Tyler.  The big argument was not what I expected and I feel like they broke up over something small and Emily did not let it go easily.  But don't worry, it is a HEA.

All in all, I loved the story, the characters, and the loved felt between the group of friends that had an undying love for Haley.  I absolutely recommend this book.  Now go read It.!!

Summer of Seduction

Saving Jake by Sharon Sala

Let me start by saying that I had no idea that this was book 3 in a series.  The book was so good that I thought it was a stand-alone novel.!!  This book tells the story of Jake and Laurel (which makes me think of "Arrow") and tells the story of how they became to accept each other's painful past and learning how to move forward with love.  This book is a wonderful example of storytelling and I enjoyed myself while reading this book.  The way the author tells this story makes it entertaining in a classy, simple way and I could not have asked for a better story.  This story gripped my heart and I was surprised by the chemistry that jumped off of the pages when it came to Jake and Laurel.  Laurel's daughter, Bonnie, just makes this book even more sweet than it already is.  I really miss when books were written like this and there is no specific point of view and it allows the author to explore different characters.  By allowing different charact...
