Whoa.!!!! Let me start with that word because this book is sex on a page. This book most definitely live up to the hype of being scorching hot, but is it enough to make a great story.? Let's find out. First I wanted to give you a little insight on this hot read. First we have the city girl, Madison, and our hot lumberjack sex on a stick, Luke. Madison is a Hollywood make-up artistwho was recently divorced from a no-good cheating husband and was looking for a nice, quiet retreat from the noisy fast-paced city. Little does she know, she will meet Luke, an ex-Navy Seal who lives in the cabin deep in the forest, and from there the temperature in this book reach blaring red levels.

In the first 5 pages of this book you get a sex scene and it really surprised me. I guess I should have expected it because Ms. Wild is the queen of erotica. The sex scenes are hot to say the least and Luke is a great hero. He is not an alpha or a broody, battered hero, but he is a former navy seal who loved and lost. I enjoyed Madison in small doses because basically, she is borderline annoying.

Now let's get to the bad part of the book. Even though this book had a hot lumberjack and the sex scenes were hot, it was not enough to carry this story. The story line was weak and their relationship did not seem realistic. There was really no character development and the relationship just sorta jumps off the cliff with no sorta tension or build up. I would still recommend the book though because anyone who wants a hot read, this is most definitely the book to pick up. 👀😏

Let me start by saying that I had no idea that this was book 3 in a series. The book was so good that I thought it was a stand-alone novel.!! This book tells the story of Jake and Laurel (which makes me think of "Arrow") and tells the story of how they became to accept each other's painful past and learning how to move forward with love. This book is a wonderful example of storytelling and I enjoyed myself while reading this book. The way the author tells this story makes it entertaining in a classy, simple way and I could not have asked for a better story.
