Let me start by saying that I had no idea that this was book 3 in a series. The book was so good that I thought it was a stand-alone novel.!! This book tells the story of Jake and Laurel (which makes me think of "Arrow") and tells the story of how they became to accept each other's painful past and learning how to move forward with love. This book is a wonderful example of storytelling and I enjoyed myself while reading this book. The way the author tells this story makes it entertaining in a classy, simple way and I could not have asked for a better story. This story gripped my heart and I was surprised by the chemistry that jumped off of the pages when it came to Jake and Laurel. Laurel's daughter, Bonnie, just makes this book even more sweet than it already is.
